“Mighty oaks from little acorns grow”

Give thanks by giving back!  Through the end of November, 100% of proceeds from The Acorn pattern will be donated to the Good Samaritan Foundation's food pantry.

The Good Samaritan Foundation was founded by Emily Taylor's father, James Woodward, who passed away from ALS in June of 2025.

For over 17 years, the Good Samaritan Foundation (GSF) has been helping refugees and immigrants. In 2018, GSF expanded their services to include the Rose Park Neighborhood Center (RPNC) located at 754 North 800 West Salt Lake City. The center provides a safe and welcoming place for neighbors to learn and grow.

The mission of RPNC is to provide programs that support families and improve the educational outcomes of students living in Salt Lake City’s westside neighborhoods. Programs include English language learning, citizenship preparation, legal clinics, college scholarships, parent engagement classes, and other immigrant resources.

By definition, Good Samaritan is a compassionate person who unselfishly helps others, especially strangers. The Good Samaritan Neighborhood Center is a place for neighbors to meet, learn and grow together. It is a place for volunteers to meet and make new friends.  It is a safe, welcoming, happy place for everyone who walks through the door. And most important, we hope that a stranger in need finds us and becomes our friend.
