Create a cheerful winter bird to brighten someone's day! This project is easy to complete in a few hours, and makes a darling wall hanging or pillow. Kit includes templates and instructions for making the project, as well as fabric selected by Emily!
This Kit Includes:
- Printed Winter Cardinal parchment pressing pattern and instructions
- Fabric for collage
- 14" of background fabric (cardinal is 7.5" x 10.5")
- Lite Steam a Seam 2
Additional Supplies Required:
- Fabric scissors
- Clover mini wand iron
- Parchment paper (baking paper). I have found that the Reynold's brand works best, but use whatever you have.
- Tweezers
- Embroidery thread and silk ribbon (if embellishing)

Love this pattern. I used it to make a hanging for my granddaughters bows and hair accessories.
This was a very fun project! The kit had such a great combination of fabric designs and colors.

The instructions are excellent and clear. I received my kit quickly. As I worked on it I would have liked more variety in fabrics especially for the red fabric choices. There seems to be too many dark fabrics- especially since 2 of each fabric is included in the kit. Easily you would only need 1 of each of the dark fabrics is needed which would affirm more red choices for the bird.

I loved completing the cardinal. I loved the whole collage experience, it was fun and relatively fast. After I completed it, I ordered two of Emily Taylor books and I plan to have more collage wall hangings in my future. I watched the tutorial on You Tube and that was very helpful as well.

Easy instructions to follow. Adequate fabric to complete the collage portion of the pattern. Having a good picture, this provided ideas on how to complete the front with stitching.
